Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of archivalpulse.com and the content published by Archival Pulse, an independent, owner-operated history channel. By using this site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Informational content
Everything Archival Pulse publishes, on this site and on our channels, is for general information and education. It is not legal, financial or professional advice. We work hard to be accurate and fair, and our content reflects our reading of the sources available at the time of publication. Historical records can be incomplete or disputed, and new information can come to light.
2. Sources and archival material
- Our videos draw on primary sources, including U.S. government records, declassified documents and archival footage and photographs, much of which is in the public domain.
- Where we use copyrighted material (for example short excerpts of news footage, quotations or images), we do so for commentary, criticism, education and historical analysis, which we believe is fair use. If you are a rights holder and have a concern, email us and we will review it promptly.
- Public-domain material remains in the public domain; our use of it does not claim ownership over it.
3. Our content
Except for public-domain and third-party material, the scripts, narration, graphics, editing and branding of Archival Pulse belong to Archival Pulse. You are welcome to link to and share our videos using the platforms’ own share features. Please do not re-upload, repost or sell our videos, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement, without written permission.
4. Third-party platforms and links
Our videos are hosted on YouTube, X, TikTok and Instagram, and this site links to them and to other websites. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
5. Corrections
If you believe something we published is inaccurate, email us with the details and a source. We review every correction request and update or note errors where warranted.
6. No warranty
This site and our content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Archival Pulse is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or our content.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with its “Last updated” date.
